Pure essence of nature, landscape, and Mediterranean biodiversity

Our organic honey from Empordà is a natural treasure born from deep respect for bees and their environment. Rich in vitamins, essential minerals, and active enzymes, it is harvested in strict accordance with organic beekeeping standards: far from intensive farming and GMOs, with full commitment to sustainability and animal welfare.

The hives are built exclusively from natural materials such as wood, without any plastic, polyurethane, or fiberglass. Every step — from extraction to packaging — is certified by the CCPAE, ensuring full traceability and authentic organic quality.

Our honey varieties come from four protected natural parks in Empordà, all located between the sea and the mountains, in the heart of the Costa Brava, one of Catalonia’s most iconic regions — known for its wild coastline, Mediterranean flora, and exceptional biodiversity:

Organic Honey from Cap de Creus Natural Park

Here, the Costa Brava is at its wildest — with cliffs plunging into the Mediterranean and strong coastal winds shaping a rugged landscape. The bees gather nectar from wild herbs like rosemary, thyme, and aromatic coastal flowers. The result is a bold, salty-scented honey, full of character and reflective of the raw beauty of Cap de Creus.

Organic Honey from the Albera Natural Park

Where the Pyrenees meet the sea, this forested area is home to cork oaks, chestnut trees, and an abundance of wildflowers. Its rich flora results in a well-balanced honey, with woody notes and a complex, earthy aroma.

Organic Honey from Montgrí, Medes Islands and Baix Ter Natural Park

This ecologically diverse coastal zone includes dunes, wetlands, riverbanks, and fertile plains. Bees forage from a rich mix of coastal vegetation and native plant species. The honey is light, floral, and subtly citrusy, ideal for those who prefer a mild, delicate flavor.

Organic Honey from the Les Salines Massif

Further inland, in the cool, shady forests of the pre-Pyrenees, the bees gather nectar among beech, oak, and chestnut trees. This is a deep, resinous mountain honey, with balsamic undertones and hints of medicinal herbs — perfect for those seeking strength and comfort in every spoonful.

Each honey reflects the living landscape that gave it life. Tasting them means experiencing the wild biodiversity of the Costa Brava, the essence of its Mediterranean herbs, and the spirit of sustainable, organic beekeeping.
